The ONLINE PORTAL system is available to our patients, if interested in signing up, please ask if your doctor is involved with this type of scheduling. Patients who register will be able to open their own personal account on our secure website; in return this will allow you, the patient to book, cancel or reschedule your own appointments online.

TEXT CONFIRMATIONS:
Healthworx will be resuming "TEXT" appointment reminders to our patients. If you already have a "cell" number attached to your file, please verify with reception that this is the number you would like the text reminder sent to. If you have a family member or friend's "cell" number listed on your chart, the message may be sent to that number. We are able to move unwanted cell numbers to another area for a contact if required.

We are proud to be your health care home. HealthWorx is part of the Primary Care Network program and our focus is family medicine and preventative care.

Included in our care team are primary care nurses who help with managing patients with chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, COPD and obesity.

Regular Clinic hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

WALK-IN SERVICES:

Our aim is to offer same day access therefore we offer Walk-In services to all of our existing clinic patients.

Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm & 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Friday: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

HealthWorx is closed all weekends & statutory holidays.

All Walk-In services are dependent upon doctor availability and are subject to change at any time!

All Walk-In services are for current Healthworx patients only on a first come first serve basis

Please be advised that when the capacity of patients has been reached the Walk-In clinic will be closed.

No Show Policy
We do acknowledge that sometimes, for unforeseen circumstances, you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, and would like to ask that you please contact the clinic as soon as possible to reschedule or cancel.

Due to the high volume of patients not showing up for their booked appointments the clinic will now be implementing a new fee for missed appointments.

Patients who miss their scheduled standard appointment (10 min slot) will be charged a $50.00 fee and for longer appointments like a full physical appointment (20 min slot) $100. A missed biopsy appointment will be charged $50.00

The impact of a no-show without proper notice is that other patients can't see the doctor during that time.

As you all know, Healthworx Medical Clinic is an extremely busy clinic and sometimes patients need to wait weeks, or even months, to get in to see their primary physician, by reducing the no-show numbers it indirectly means that we would be able to assist more patients, and reduce wait times!

Patients will not be able to book any future appointments in the clinic until they have paid their outstanding fee for their no-show.
